Where did you grow up?

I am from Missouri City, Texas which is just outside of Houston.

What high school did you attend?

I went to Elkins High School.

What was your favorite extracurricular activity in high school?

My favorite activity in high school was dancing competitively.

Why did you come to UT?

I came to UT because I heard that it had a great CS program, on top of having in-state tuition.

Why are you majoring in CS?

I am majoring in CS because I love the challenge of logic-ing my way through a complex problem and seeing your solutions and ideas actually work and improve your results and performance.

Why are you in this class?

I am in this class because I found SWE to be really useful so I wanted to take Professor Downing’s other class as well.

What are your expectations of this class?

I heard it is pretty similar to SWE so I think I have a pretty good expectation of how this class will go. My only hold-up is the fact that it was very difficult working on SWE projects remotely but I hope this class will go a little smoother.

How much C++ do you already know?

I have never used C++ before.
